Hours/week: 36-40 hours/week

Licenses/Certs: BLS, ACLS, RN License (state or compact)
Travel reimbursement and licensure/certification costs covered when applicable
What You’ll Do:
Provide nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients, utilizing nursing practices aligned with standards.
Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
Assess and document patient history, symptoms, and care provided.
Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
What You Need: Required:
Valid RN license in Louisiana or a compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
1 year of experience in telemetry or related nursing specialty
Ability to work 12-hour days on a Monday through Saturday schedule (every other weekend)
Preferred:
Experience with cardiac and telemetry units
Strong patient assessment and communication skills
