Travel RN - Emergency Room - Night Shift (Alexandria, LA)

Licensure: Valid RN license (state of Louisiana or compact)
Experience: Minimum 1 year of applicable nursing experience
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (from AHA), CPI Blue Card

Competitive pay rate: $53.60/hour

What You’ll Do
Provide complex nursing care to high-acuity ER patients, including stroke, cardiovascular, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health, and sepsis cases
Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses and side effects
Perform assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
Document patient history, treatments, and care comprehensively
Educate patients and their families regarding their conditions and care plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Manage multiple critical cases independently in a fast-paced environment
What You Need
Valid RN license in Louisiana or a valid compact license
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (from AHA)
Minimum 1 year of ER or high-acuity nursing experience
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
About the Assignment
This is a full-time, high-acuity ER unit experience located at a reputable healthcare facility in Alexandria, LA. The unit handles a diverse range of extremely urgent cases including strokes, cardiovascular emergencies, sepsis, and trauma-related conditions, with dedicated onsite security 24/7. The assignment supports ongoing professional development and offers potential pathways to permanent employment.
