Hourly Pay Rate: $62.31/hour

What You’ll Do
Provide high-quality care to critical care patients with conditions such as DKA, respiratory failure, MIs, CABGs, and ventilator support
Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient response, and document accurately
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Address emotional, psychological, and social needs of patients and families
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards
Participate in ongoing competency and training sessions as required
What You Need
Required:
RN license in Louisiana or a compact state
BLS certification from AHA
ACLS certification from AHA
Minimum 1 year ICU or Critical Care experience (preferred but not mandatory for new graduates)
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Experience with DKA, respiratory failure, cardiac procedures, intubation, or ventilator management
About the Assignment
Join a busy ICU in Alexandria, LA, that handles a varied caseload, including cardiac and medical critical care patients. The unit is equipped to manage complex cases such as MIs, CABGs, ventilators, and more. The assignment starts ASAP and runs through 07/26/2026, with the possibility of temp-to-perm conversion.
