Required Skills:
Valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact license
BLS certification from AHA
ACLS certification from AHA
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty (preferred)
Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and patient education skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience in telemetry or cardiac care units
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Additional certifications related to cardiac or telemetry nursing
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred)
At least 1 year of clinical experience in telemetry or cardiac nursing
Other Requirements:
Availability to work days, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with every other weekend commitment
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment
Willingness to participate in orientation and ongoing competency assessments
COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption, as applicable
