Join Our Team as a Travel Emergency Room Nurse (Days Shift) – Competitive Pay Rate $53.60/hr

Are you an experienced Emergency Room RN looking for an exciting travel opportunity? We are seeking dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurses to provide exceptional care in a high-acuity emergency department. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment with varied case loads, from strokes and cardiovascular issues to behavioral health and sepsis. With a focus on professional growth and impactful patient care, this position is ideal for nurses eager to make a difference while exploring new locations.

Key Details:
  • Job Title: 41101 - Travel: RN - Emergency Room - DAYS
  • Shift: 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM (12-hour days)
  • Start Date: November 24, 2025
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $53.60/hour
  • Duration: Temp to perm potential, with blocked scheduling attempted
  • Schedule: Every other weekend required; on-call not required
  • Location: Multiple, with no floating requirement

Required Skills:
  • Minimum 1 year of recent ED experience in a high-acuity setting
  • Valid RN license in the state of employment or multi-state compact license
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • De-Escalation (CPI) certification (CPI/blue card preferred)
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and patient education capabilities
  • Ability to handle complex cases such as strokes, cardiovascular emergencies, wounds, behavioral health, and sepsis
  • Security onsite 24/7 for staff safety

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with trauma cases (not trauma-designated)
  • Previous travel nursing experience
  • Additional certifications in specialty areas

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred)
  • At least 1 year of relevant ED or high-acuity nursing experience
  • Proven ability to manage diverse patient needs and priorities

Other Requirements:
  • Must attend New Nurses Orientation within 30 days of hire
  • Successful completion of on-boarding and competency validation
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
  • No on-call requirements; flexible scheduling with blocked shifts attempted
