What You’ll Need:
Active RN license in the state of employment or a compact license
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS certification from AHA
PALS certification from AHA
Minimum of 1 year experience in related nursing specialty preferred
Strong assessment skills and ability to administer complex care
Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
Ability to work independently and delegate appropriately
Effective communication skills and cultural sensitivity
Additional Skills That Would Help:
Experience with high-acuity patient care involving stroke, cardiovascular, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health, and sepsis cases
Prior experience in an Emergency Department or similar critical care setting
Knowledge of trauma patient management (though not trauma-designated unit)
Ability to adapt quickly to evolving clinical situations
Experience working with diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
At least one year of relevant nursing experience in high-acuity environments
Other Requirements:
Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Every other weekend schedule
No on-call or floating responsibilities
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1
Ability to attend orientation within the first 30 days of employment
Participation in onboarding and competency validation processes
Security on-site 24/7; potential for temp-to-perm placement
Travel required for assignment
Hourly Pay Rate: $53.60
