Join Our Team as a Travel Registered Nurse – Critical Care (Nights Shift) – $60.30/hr

As a critical care specialist, you will provide expert nursing care to patients experiencing complex conditions such as DKA, acute respiratory failure, MIs, CABGs, and ventilator dependency in a mixed cardiac and medical ICU. You will work independently within a collaborative team to deliver evidenced-based, patient-centered care, ensuring positive outcomes and patient safety. This role offers an engaging environment to hone your critical thinking and clinical skills, with the potential for temp-to-perm placement.

Required Skills:
  • Current New Mexico RN license or valid compact state license
  • BLS certification via AHA
  • ACLS certification via AHA
  • At least 1 year of experience in a critical care setting preferred
  • Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced ICU environment
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Experience managing cardiac and medical ICU patients
  • Knowledge of ventilator management and advanced cardiac life support protocols
  • Experience with diverse patient populations and complex cases

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of critical care nursing experience; new graduates considered with appropriate skills

Other Requirements:
  • Night shift schedule: 7PM – 7AM
  • Every other weekend work requirement
  • No floating or on-call demand
  • Ability to attend new nurse orientation within 30 days of hire
  • Successful completion of departmental competency validations
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to new clinical environments
  • Valid licensure and certifications, including BLS and ACLS

This role offers an hourly pay rate of $60.30, along with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), and additional support through our robust referral bonus program.
