Join Our Elite Team as a Travel Critical Care RN – Night Shift

We are seeking highly skilled Registered Nurses for immediate travel assignments in a dynamic ICU environment. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients with conditions such as DKA, Acute Respiratory Failure, MIs, CABGs, and ventilator support in a mixed cardiac and medical ICU.
Independently perform assessments, develop care plans, administer medications and treatments following established protocols, and evaluate patient responses.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, delegate appropriately, and provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient history, treatments, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with standards and protocols.
Demonstrate flexibility with multiple shifts, including night hours, to meet unit needs while adhering to nurse-to-patient ratios (2:1 in ICU, 4:1 in IMCU).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Valid RN license in Louisiana or a Compact State.
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
At least 1 year of experience in a critical care setting preferred; new graduates considered.
Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and delegation skills.
Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment and manage complex patient care.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with ventilator management and advanced cardiac care.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Additional certifications in specialty areas (e.g., CCRN) are a plus.
Preferred Education & Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly preferred.
Prior experience in mixed medical-surgical ICU units.
Additional Requirements:
commitment to attending New Nurses Orientation within 30 days.
Flexibility to float within designated areas and work scheduled weekends; no on-call required.
Travel requirements with reimbursements available for licensure, certifications, travel, and related expenses.
