Join Our Team as a Travel Catheterization Laboratory Technologist – DAYS

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Travel Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to lead and support complex cardiac procedures. In this vital role, you will perform advanced imaging and operational tasks during catheterization procedures, oversee departmental operations, and serve as a preceptor and leader for technologists and technicians. Your expertise will help ensure seamless procedure execution, patient safety, and departmental efficiency, all while working within a team committed to the highest standards of care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Diagnostic, Interventional Radiology, or Cath/EP Lab environments.
Proven proficiency with cardiac catheterizations, peripherals, TAVR, device management, and related procedures.
State licensure and certifications, including BLS, ACLS, PALS via AHA.
Certification in one of the following: RCIS, RCES, RCS by CCI, or Radiography (R), CI, CV, VI by ARRT, or RDMS specialties, or RVT by ARDMS.
Adequate knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring, fluoroscopy, digital image acquisition, and radiation safety.
Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills to mentor junior staff and coordinate with physicians.
Nice to Have Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field.
Additional specialized certifications or training in electrophysiology or vascular imaging.
Experience working in a travel or temporary staffing role in healthcare.
Preferred Education and Experience:
An accredited healthcare-related degree such as Radiology Technology or equivalent.
At least 5 years of relevant clinical experience in interventional labs or cath labs.
Prior experience in leadership or precepting roles within healthcare settings.
Other Requirements:
Ability to travel and work in various clinical environments as needed.
Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, infection control, and adherence to organizational policies.
Willingness to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
Valid licensure and certifications as specified.
