Required Skills:
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
Valid OT License in the state of Texas
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
Proven experience in acute care settings preferred
Ability to assess, plan, evaluate, and implement individualized therapy programs
Strong communication skills and professionalism
Ability to supervise support staff, students, and volunteers
Knowledge of standards set forth by the Occupational Therapy Practice Act
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working with trauma, orthopedic, cardiovascular, or medical/surgical adult/geriatric patients
Bilingual abilities
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Adaptability to fast-paced environments and varied clinical settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Valid OT license in Texas
Prior experience in acute hospital or medical facility settings
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Other Requirements:
Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (schedule may be adjusted)
Ability to travel to different clinical sites as required
Temp-to-perm opportunity available, offering stability and growth potential
Hourly pay rate of $53.60
