Required Skills:
Valid RN license in Texas or a compact state
Current BLS certification (AHA)
ACLS certification preferred
Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience in MedSurg or Telemetry units
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent documentation and communication abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with complex medical conditions
Prior travel or agency nursing experience
Proficiency in patient education and family communication
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience in MedSurg or Telemetry settings
Other Requirements:
Availability for 12-hour shifts, days from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Ability to work every other weekend
On-call with low census, limited to once every 2 weeks
Successful completion of hospital orientation and competency assessments
Must be able to start on 12/08/2025
