Required Skills:
Active RN License in Texas or Compact State
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Telemetry or MedSurg IMC
Proficiency in monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing complex patient care
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
ACLS certification from the AHA
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Familiarity with hospital protocols for telemetry and IMC units
Prior travel nursing experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
At least 1 year of recent nursing experience in a similar setting
Other Requirements:
Availability to work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Commitment to attend New Nurse Orientation within the first 30 days
Participation in onboarding and competency validation programs
Ability to manage on-call duties with low census, approximately once every two weeks
Must be willing to travel to the assignment location
Compensation:
Hourly Pay Rate: $50.25
Shift: 12 hours, Day shift (07:00-19:00), every other weekend work
