Required Skills:
Valid RN license in Texas or Compact state
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred
Proven ability to practice independently within the scope of nursing standards
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience in telemetry, orthopedics, colorectal, urology, sepsis, SBO, or geriatric gynecology units
Advanced certifications such as ACLS or ESR (Enhanced Situational Readiness)
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Knowledge of patient education and resource coordination
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
At least one year of recent experience in acute care settings, specifically MedSurg or telemetry units
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel and work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Ability to start a new assignment beginning 01/19/2026
Must meet all state and federal compliance requirements
Willingness to undergo background checks and health screenings
Valid driver's license and eligible for travel reimbursements
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $50.25, with a competitive package including weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick leave, licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable.
