Required Skills:
Valid RN license in Texas or with a current compact license
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
At least 1 year of experience in a surgical or related nursing specialty
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient management skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Experience with perioperative or surgical patient care
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Multilingual skills to enhance patient communication
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
Minimum of 1 year of surgical nursing experience
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel and work a scheduled shift from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Ability to work 8-hour shifts consistently
Compensation of $53.60 per hour
Engagement in a collaborative, patient-centered environment
