Required Skills:
Valid RN license in Texas or a compact state
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (AHA-specific)
TNCC certification
Minimum 1 year of ER nursing experience preferred
Strong assessment and clinical judgment abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills and emotional resilience
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in float nursing across emergency departments and inpatient units (IMC/ICU)
Prior travel or multiple facility experience
Bilingual abilities or additional language proficiency
Advanced patient management skills in high-acuity settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
At least 1 year of ER nursing experience in a fast-paced environment
Other Requirements:
Flexibility to float between emergency departments and inpatient units based on volume
Compliance with all facility-specific policies and protocols
Ability to work night shifts consistently
Willingness to travel as needed within assigned facilities
