We are currently hiring a dedicated professional to provide vital speech therapy services across diverse clinical settings. About the Role
As a Travel Speech Pathologist, you will deliver comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and therapy for a variety of patients including those with neurological, orthopedic, and medical needs, predominantly working with adults but occasionally with NICU patients. You will play a key part in patient care, program development, and departmental activities. Your expertise will contribute to positive patient outcomes and the ongoing success of our healthcare team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC required)
Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as per ASHA guidelines
BLS certification (AHA only)
Proficiency with assessment and treatment tools as outlined by regulatory standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and medical teams
Nice to Have Skills
Experience working with diverse patient populations, including neuro, stroke, ortho, and bedside care
Knowledge of community resources for referrals and patient education
Participation in research or program development activities
Supervisory experience with students or volunteers
Preferred Education and Experience
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
Clinical experience in hospital or medical settings, preferably with adult neuro or stroke patients
Prior travel therapy experience is a plus
Other Requirements
Travel flexibility to serve across different clinical sites, including bedside and NICU settings
Commitment to adherence to departmental protocols, documentation standards, and performance improvement initiatives
Willingness to participate in departmental training and community outreach activities
Hourly Rate: $56.95
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Thursday through Monday (Total 8 hours)
Start Date: November 23, 2025
