Join Our Team as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU Level 3/4

Overview
This position offers an engaging opportunity to work within a comprehensive hospital that provides Level IV maternal care, Level II Neonatal Care, and a range of specialized services. As a Travel RN - NICU, you will deliver expert neonatal care, assist in complex clinical situations, and support our commitment to excellence in patient outcomes. The ideal candidate is adaptable, proactive, and committed to advancing neonatal health.

Required Skills
  • Current RN license in Texas or a valid multi-state license (Compact)
  • BLS certification from AHA
  • STABLE certification (Participant, Lead Instructor, or Support Instructor)
  • NRP certification (AHA)
  • Minimum 1 year of NICU experience preferred, Level 3 or 4 NICU experience highly desired
  • Strong knowledge of neonatal nursing practices and protocols
  • Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to practice independently and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Nice to Have Skills
  • Perinatal RN Residency or recent experience in a perinatal setting
  • Experience with family-centered care practices
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation protocols
  • Additional certifications in pediatric advanced life support (PALS) or neonatal care

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Previous experience working in a Level III or IV NICU setting
  • Proven ability to manage complex neonatal cases with confidence

Other Requirements
  • Availability for a 12-hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, starting 11/09/2025
  • Must attend New Nurses Orientation within the initial 30 days of hire
  • Willingness to adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and organizational competencies
  • Compliance with annual competency validations and organizational protocols
