Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for neonatal intensive care? We are seeking a skilled and compassionate NICU RN to provide exceptional care in a dynamic hospital environment. In this role, you will deliver complex and routine neonatal care in a Level II Neonatal ICU setting, working independently with a strong focus on patient safety, personalized care, and family support. Your expertise will help ensure optimal outcomes for our most vulnerable patients during critical periods of their development.
Required Skills:
Valid RN license in Texas or active compact state license
Current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications (AHA-certified)
At least 1 year of NICU experience, preferably Level 3 or 4
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of neonatal pharmacology, procedures, and protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous experience with perinatal patient care
NICU residency or recent perinatal practice
Additional certifications in neonatal or pediatric advanced life support
Bilingual abilities to assist diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Prior experience in Level III or IV NICU settings
Minimum of one year of recent NICU nursing practice
Other Requirements:
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
Travel position for a specified period
Must attend new nurse orientation within 30 days of hire
Ability to handle emotional and physical demands of neonatal intensive care
Commitment to ongoing education and competency development
