What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and care for pre-operative patients in accordance with hospital standards
  • Maintain aseptic techniques and monitor for breaches in sterile environment
  • Assist in positioning patients and transporting to and from the OR
  • Prepare the operating room, instruments, and supplies for specific surgical cases
  • Scrub in on various specialties, including CVOR, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastics, urology, ENT, and vascular surgery
  • Pass instruments and sutures during procedures under surgeon direction
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and sterile procedures
  • Support team in maintaining a safe, effective surgical environment
  • Adhere to hospital policies for instrument sterilization and patient safety

What You Need
Required:
  • Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN license
  • BLS certification (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years CVOR experience
  • Neurosurgery experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures

Preferred:
  • Experience in general, ortho, plastics, urology, ENT, or vascular surgery
  • Ability to scrub in multiple specialized areas
