Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Speech Pathologist to start immediately in a travel capacity, offering the chance to work in varied clinical environments on a flexible, full-time basis. The position involves evaluating, planning, and implementing tailored treatment programs to improve communication and swallowing functions in adult neuro, cognitive, and dysphagia patients. This role is critical in restoring patients’ independence and quality of life through evidence-based interventions and collaborative care. Candidates must be adaptable, professional, and eager to contribute to a patient-centered team.
Required Skills:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid SLP License in Texas or eligible for intern license with all requirements met
Basic computer proficiency with EPIC documentation experience preferred
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans
Knowledge of adult neuro, cognitive, and dysphagia patient care
Professionalism, reliability, and strong ethical standards
Nice to Have Skills:
Vital stim and LSVT certification for therapists with outpatient experience
EPIC EMR system familiarity
Experience working in outpatient or adult neuro settings
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Preferred Education and Experience:
Entry-level or experienced speech therapists accepted, with a preference for those experienced in adult neuro and dysphagia care
Licensure via the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) within one year of hire
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel to various work sites as needed
Immediate availability to start; open to temporary to permanent arrangements
Commitment to maintaining professional licensure and certifications as required
