We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Perfusionist II to support invasive cardiovascular procedures across diverse healthcare settings. Required Skills:
  • Completion of an accredited perfusionist training program.
  • State licensure as a Perfusionist in Texas.
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association).
  • Proficiency in operating cardiopulmonary bypass machines, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Cell Saver, and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation systems.
  • Knowledge of anticoagulation management, hemodynamic monitoring, and surgical support techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-stakes environments and adapt quickly to different clinical settings.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Board eligibility or certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.
  • Prior experience in open-heart surgery, vascular, or orthopedic procedures.
  • Familiarity with other sterile and cardiovascular equipment.
  • Multilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Perfusion Technology or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
  • Experience working in hospital or surgical center settings.

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to travel and work full-time Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Ability to arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled surgeries for setup.
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as needed in dynamic environments.
  • Valid licensure, certifications, and adherence to safety and infection control standards.
  • Ability to handle on-call responsibilities if required.
