Are you a dedicated EMS professional seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity? We are looking for experienced Paramedics to provide critical emergency medical services across diverse cases ranging from pediatric to geriatric. In this role, you will operate advanced life support ambulances, delivering immediate care, coordinating response efforts, and ensuring patient safety during transport. You will respond to various emergencies, including accidents and disasters, working closely with medical personnel, law enforcement, and fire services. Your expertise will help save lives and provide essential care in complex, high-pressure situations.
Required Skills:
Paramedic license (EMT-P) in Texas
Valid Texas driver’s license
PHTLS (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support) certification (obtained off the clock if through CHRISTUS)
Certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and PALS (AHA)
Proven experience as a Paramedic managing emergency medical scenarios
Strong assessment and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently after minimal training
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of medical equipment operation and ambulance protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
Additional certifications or specialized training in emergency response
Experience working in diverse emergency settings
Bilingual abilities for effective communication in varied communities
Preferred Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior experience as a Paramedic in high-volume or emergency environments
Completion of minimal training (one day academy and one ride-out shift)
Other Requirements:
Ability to work 24-hour shifts from 6 AM to 6 AM, scheduled twice weekly
Willingness to travel as required
Certification in PHTLS (training provided off the clock)
Compliance with OSHA regulations, hazardous materials handling, and infection control standards
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $36.85, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, a robust referral bonus program, paid sick time, and reimbursement opportunities for licensure, certification, travel, and related expenses. A full-time, full-benefit role with potential temp-to-perm placement is available, starting on 11/24/2025.
