Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Hours/Week: 36 hours/week
Employment Type: Full-Time Travel Assignment
License/Certifications: Texas RN License or compact, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
Experience: 1+ year ER nursing experience preferred
Travel and licensure reimbursements when applicable
Licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements as needed
What You’ll Do
Provide direct emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced ER setting
Assess and prioritize patient needs, delivering appropriate interventions in accordance with protocols
Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects
Document patient history, assessments, treatments, and responses accurately
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and execute care plans
Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and follow-up care
Manage complex emergencies including stroke, STEMI, trauma, psychiatric, pediatric, and geriatric cases
What You Need
Valid Texas RN license or equivalent nursing license in a Compact state
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (AHA only)
TNCC certification preferred
Minimum of 1 year ER nursing experience
Strong clinical skills with ability to work independently in a high-volume ER
