What You’ll Do:
Assess, plan, and evaluate outpatient therapy needs for various patient types (orthopedic, balance, deconditioned, pain management, etc.)
Gather pertinent patient data from charts and coordinate with physicians
Independently evaluate patients and develop measurable, realistic goals
Reassess patient progress regularly and adjust care plans accordingly
Identify equipment needs and involve patients and families in care planning
Ensure adherence to all standards of practice and regulatory policies
Document patient care interventions accurately and thoroughly
Maintain compliance with state, federal, and institutional guidelines
What You Need:
Valid LPT license in Texas or a compact state
Bachelor’s degree (Doctorate preferred) in Physical Therapy
BLS certification (AHA) preferred
Minimum prior outpatient therapy experience is highly desired
Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills
