Join Our Healthcare Team as a 11104 - Per Diem Physical Therapist

In this role, you will assess, plan, and evaluate patient care, delivering targeted therapies in accordance with all applicable standards and guidelines. Your expertise will help optimize patient outcomes, support recovery, and enhance quality of life for diverse patient populations.
Required Skills:
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent professional degree
Valid Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) license in the state of Texas
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to develop tailored treatment plans
Excellent judgment in evaluating patient needs and adjusting care plans accordingly
Effective communication and collaboration with physicians, patients, and families
Ability to gather and interpret clinical data independently
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with swing bed or inpatient rehabilitation settings
Knowledge of current physical therapy practices and emerging treatment techniques
Prior experience working in diverse patient populations
Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication
Preferred Education and Experience:
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
Prior experience in outpatient, inpatient, or skilled nursing facilities
At least 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience is preferred
Other Requirements:
Availability for 8-16 hours weekly, primarily on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
Responsibilities include IP/swing bed care, 1-2 days per week
Willingness to work shifts from 07:00 to 18:00
Travel reimbursements, licensure, certification, and related expenses covered where applicable
Must adhere to all state and federal regulations concerning physical therapy practice
Compensation for this rewarding role is $63.65 per hour, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
