Position Overview:
Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our dynamic, multi-specialty clinical team. Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert orthopedic surgical and non-surgical care, including patient consultations, procedures, and follow-up visits.
Conduct in-office procedures and participate in hospital-based inpatient care, working collaboratively with hospitalists or managing inpatient cases directly.
Engage in a flexible call rotation, including weekend coverage, ensuring continuity of care for emergency and elective cases.
Utilize Epic EMR system for accurate documentation, order management, and communication.
Collaborate closely with two established orthopedic surgeons, primary care providers, advanced practice providers (APPs), and specialty support staff.
Manage your patient panel, emphasizing continuity of care and optimal outcomes.
Participate in teaching activities and professional collaboration within the healthcare team, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including detailed documentation, safety standards, and multidisciplinary team participation.
Contribute to hospital quality initiatives and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
Valid Missouri medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Controlled Substance Registration (CSR/CDS) and DEA certification.
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
Open to J1 visa candidates; not accepting Locum or 1099 candidates.
