Shift: Monday to Friday, rotating OR coverage, with clinical days and ICU management
Hours/week: Full-time (hours flexed as per hospital schedule)

Licensure/Certifications: Colorado licensure as Nurse Practitioner; ACLS/PALS preferred
Experience: Prior experience in cardiac or cardiovascular surgery and ICU patient management required
Pay & Benefits:
Competitive annual salary: $100,588 – $143,769 (based on experience)

What You'll Do:
Provide expert clinical care for cardiothoracic surgery patients with a focus on compassionate, patient-first approach
Assist in cardiac surgeries, including performing endoscopic vein harvesting and first assisting
Manage ICU and surgical patient care, including rounding and evaluations in CVICU, floor, and clinics
Participate in two full-day clinics weekly, with flexibility for additional patient consults
Rotate through operating room coverage Monday-Friday
Collaborate closely with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare professionals in a team environment
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and labs
Develop and implement care plans, managing medication prescriptions in compliance with policies
Perform bedside procedures as needed
Document all care accurately and timely
Maintain continuing medical education and adapt to dynamic clinical environment
Demonstrate clinical judgment and function independently under supervision
What You Need:
Valid Colorado Nurse Practitioner license and current certifications
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in cardiac or cardiovascular surgery and ICU management
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and team collaboration abilities
Ability to thrive in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
