Required Skills
Valid Medical License in Indiana and board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Medicine.
Experience performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
Ability to operate independently with excellent time management and attention to detail.
Knowledge of medical documentation and report submission protocols.
Nice to Have Skills
Prior experience working with Veterans or in a government contract setting.
Familiarity with medical standards for disability evaluations.
Certification in specific diagnostic or assessment procedures.
Preferred Education and Experience
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in General Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.
Prior exposure to Compensation & Pension evaluations is advantageous but not mandatory.
Other Requirements
Must reside within 50 miles of assigned locations or own a professional office space for onsite evaluations.
Ability to work on a PRN basis, including half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) shifts, with flexibility for ongoing assignments.
Willingness to complete required training and administrative follow-up, including report writing.
No prescribing or treatment responsibilities; focus solely on evaluation and reporting.
