We are seeking dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioners specializing in General Medicine to provide crucial Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments nationwide. Required Skills:
Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedics, or relevant general medicine background
Ability to perform interview-based assessments with some physical exam components
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently within a designated 50-mile radius of your location
Reliable transportation and a dedicated space for conducting evaluations
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience in compensation and pension evaluations
Familiarity with physical assessments such as range of motion testing and muscle strength testing
Experience working within government or military health systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master's Degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years relevant clinical experience
Previous experience performing C&P exams or related evaluations is advantageous
Other Requirements:
Own a suitable private practice or have a dedicated space within your existing office
Willingness to work on a PRN basis with flexible schedule options (½ days or full days)
Ability to complete assessments without prescribing or treatment responsibilities
Quick onboarding and credentialing process
Must be a local candidate, as travel is included in rates
Starting on 03/06/2026, with ongoing opportunities for dedicated employment
This role offers a competitive hourly pay of $402.00, with flat rates for half-day ($600) and full-day ($1200) shifts, plus a one-time bonus of $650 upon completion of initial training and first exams.
