Required Skills:
Valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification
Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or related general medicine
Strong interview skills and physical assessment capabilities, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
Ability to perform non-treatment exams efficiently
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Familiarity with assessment documentation and report submissions
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience with compensation and pension exams
Knowledge of veteran healthcare protocols
Prior work in telemedicine or remote assessment settings
Certification in relevant specialties or additional medical certifications
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master's Degree or higher in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice in general medicine or relevant specialty
Prior experience in government or military healthcare evaluations is advantageous
Other Requirements:
Candidates must reside within specified radii of designated locations or have their own office space when required
Availability to work on a PRN basis, including half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts
Willingness to complete required credentialing and onboarding processes promptly
Local candidates only, with travel included in rates
Commitment to timely report submission and administrative follow-up tasks
This position offers $402 per hour, with additional bonuses for onboarding and first exams.
