About the Role:
Are you a dynamic sales professional with established hospital relationships and a passion for enhancing patient care through advanced respiratory solutions? VieMed is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Respiratory Sales Representative to join our expanding team. This field-based position involves extensive local travel (80%+), working closely with healthcare providers to promote our innovative respiratory therapies and disease management programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Leverage existing relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, and other referral sources to increase patient referrals and strengthen alliances.
Advocate for VieMed’s home ventilation and disease management solutions through engaging presentations, clinical education, and collaborative initiatives tailored to healthcare providers.
Develop strategic sales plans to achieve and surpass territory growth objectives, aligning with company targets.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Respiratory Therapists and operations, ensuring seamless patient transitions from hospital to home care setting.
Maintain precise documentation of account activity, referral patterns, sales metrics, and client interactions to support ongoing business development.
Exhibit professionalism, persistence, and a patient-focused approach in a competitive healthcare sales environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Proven relationships within hospital-based respiratory care departments, including Pulmonology, Critical Care, or similar specialties.
Hands-on experience with Mechanical Ventilation, including Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV).
At least 2 years of successful healthcare sales experience, ideally within respiratory therapy, durable medical equipment (DME), long-term acute care hospitals (LTACH), or critical care settings.
Formal sales training and/or clinical background in respiratory therapy are highly desirable.
Superior communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel extensively within the Dallas territory.
