<br><strong>Position Overview:</strong><br />
As a Hospitalist in OB/GYN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. Your expertise will support both maternal-fetal medicine and obstetric providers in managing labor and delivery, obstetric emergencies, and surgical procedures. You will also participate in outpatient gynecological procedures and contribute to the training of OB/GYN residents and fellows, fostering the next generation of clinicians.<br> 
<br><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br>

<li>Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care at Swedish Medical Center-First Hill (approximately 6,000 deliveries annually) and Swedish Issaquah (approximately 1,800 deliveries annually).</li>
<li>Support labor and delivery units, assisting with both routine and high-risk obstetric cases, including emergencies such as ectopic pregnancies and torsions.</li>
<li>Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine specialists and obstetric teams to develop treatment plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.</li>
<li>Perform routine gynecological procedures, including diagnostic laparoscopy, supported by the Emergency Department.</li>
<li>Participate in academic activities, including teaching OB fellows and residents from obstetrics and family medicine programs, contributing to clinical education.</li>
<li>Manage obstetric triage, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and maintain documentation standards.</li>
<li>Work a flexible schedule of 6-8 shifts per month, with each shift being 24 hours, promoting a balanced professional and personal life.</li>
