Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (BC in OBGYN)
• Valid Virginia State Medical License
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• DEA certification
• Ability to work comprehensive 24-hour shifts and handle high-acuity cases
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and multitasking skills
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with high-risk obstetrics and gynecological surgeries
• Prior work in hospital or birth center settings
• Knowledge of emergency GYN procedures
• Familiarity with billing and documentation processes related to OB/GYN services

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2+ years experience in obstetrics and gynecology, preferably in a hospital or birth center setting

Other Requirements:

• Strict adherence to vaccine protocols, including flu vaccination
• Clear background check with no pending or settled felony cases
• Availability to support 24/7 coverage, including scheduled call weeks and holidays
• Willingness to cover occasional clinic visits and GYN emergencies
• Travel reimbursements for work-related travel, including gas, rentals, tolls, and hotels
