Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience within the surgical specialty
Certified Surgical Technologist credential (NBSTA or NCCT)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Ability to collaborate effectively with surgical teams and staff
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with pediatric or trauma surgeries
Familiarity with advanced minimally invasive procedures
Additional certifications related to surgical specialties
Proficiency in electronic medical records and documentation systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST or TS-C) preferred
At least two years of recent experience in a surgical setting, preferably within the specialty
Other Requirements:
Must work 13-week schedule with varying shifts (6:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.) with call responsibilities
Flexibility to work during the holiday season, including major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day) and minor holidays (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve)
Willingness to travel if applicable
Valid licensure, certification, and appropriate reimbursements for travel and related expenses
Compensation:
Hourly Pay Rate: $45.56
