Join Our Team as a Speech Therapist – Make a Difference in Patients' Lives
Are you passionate about improving communication and swallowing abilities for patients in need? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This critical role offers the opportunity to support a diverse range of acute care patients, including those with neurological, respiratory, and cognitive challenges, in a fast-paced hospital setting. Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a clinical setting specializing in speech therapy
Current Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or CCC-SLP certification
Valid AHA BLS certification
Proficiency in managing a variety of diagnoses, including ICU, stroke, neurological deficits, dyspagia, and respiratory issues
Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience in acute care or hospital environments
Knowledge of MBS/FEES procedures
Experience supporting diverse patient populations with complex needs
Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
At least two years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting
Other Requirements:
Must be available to work 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with variations; at least two weekends per four-week schedule (preferably four weekends)
Travel may be required for licensure, certification, or reimbursement purposes
No local candidates within 50 miles
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $46.73, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
