Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience performing echocardiograms, preferably within a hospital setting.
Proficiency in operating various ultrasound equipment and applying advanced imaging techniques.
Strong knowledge of methods, techniques, and operating principles involved in echocardiography.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer through RDCS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Intermediate computer skills for efficient data management and documentation.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in congenital echocardiography.
Vascular technologist certification with at least 2 years of vascular-related experience.
Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems.
Additional certifications in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation or advanced cardiovascular imaging.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology.
Registered or registry-eligible as a Cardiac Sonographer.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a hospital or medical imaging setting.
State of Georgia licensure or certification as required.
Other Requirements:
No candidates from within 50 miles of the location.
Availability to work scheduled shifts: 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, 8:00 am - 6:30 pm, or 9:00 am - 7:30 pm.
Ability to commit to a 13-week assignment.
Valid state licensure or certification as mandated.
Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
This role offers an hourly pay rate of $53.27, with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, paid sick time, licensure and travel reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program.
