Social Worker – Baldwin County, AL | VieMed Healthcare Staffing Location: Baldwin County, AL Pay Rate: $32.25/hour Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8-Hour Shifts | In-Person

As a Social Worker, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Conducting in-home visits, safety assessments, and risk evaluations
Investigating allegations of abuse and neglect
Implementing safety plans to protect children and families
Preparing court reports and offering professional recommendations
Managing cases independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
What You’ll Bring: Education (Required):
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (required)
Skills & Competencies:
Strong documentation skills and time management abilities
Ability to problem-solve independently
Experience in conducting home visits and managing cases
Ability to manage high case volumes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Cultural competency and the ability to work with diverse populations
Additional Requirements:
Current and valid Social Work License in the State of Alabama (required)
Completion of Alabama State Department of Human Resources Orientation
Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance (Mileage reimbursed!)
Candidates previously employed by AL DHR must have a 2-year separation
Must report directly to county management staff & travel as assigned
