? Position Details
Location: Mobile County, AL
Start Date: March 17, 2025
End Date: June 1, 2025
Duration: 26 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday (8-hour shifts)
? Competitive Pay & Perks
Base Pay: $32.25/hour
On-Call Pay: $2.00/hour
Call-Back Rate: $32.35/hour

? What You’ll Be Doing
Conduct in-home visits, safety assessments, and risk evaluations
Investigate allegations of abuse and neglect
Implement effective safety plans to protect children and families
Prepare court reports and provide expert recommendations
Work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
? Who We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field (required)
1+ years of recent, applicable experience (2 years preferred)
Strong documentation skills and time management abilities
Experience working in schools, hospitals, homes, or office settings
Ability to problem-solve independently and manage high case volumes
Completion of Alabama State Department of Human Resources Orientation
Must report directly to county management staff & travel as assigned
Candidates previously employed by AL DHR must have a 2-year separation
