Required Skills:
Valid and current nursing license (RN)
Proven experience in endoscopy or related procedural nursing
Ability to work in procedure rooms with confidence
Strong understanding of advanced endoscopic therapeutics, including ERCP and EUS
Excellent patient communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to handle call responsibilities and weekend shifts
Nice to Have Skills:
Additional certifications in advanced endoscopy techniques
Experience with sedation management
Familiarity with hospital electronic health records (EHR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher
Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, specifically in endoscopy
Prior experience with ERCP and EUS procedures strongly preferred
Other Requirements:
Availability to start orientation on 06/03/2024 and 06/24/2024
Ability to work 4 days per week, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, with call responsibilities
Call on weeknights (5 pm - 7 am) and every fifth weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
Certified in basic life support (BLS); advanced certifications are a plus
Must be able to work in procedural environments, demonstrating procedural competency
Willingness to travel locally as required and maintain required certifications
