Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Are you a dedicated RN with a passion for delivering exceptional perioperative care? We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room procedures to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this position, you will provide critical nursing care during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal recovery outcomes. You will collaborate closely with surgical teams, physicians, and support staff to deliver seamless, high-quality care. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced OR nurses with a focus on cardiac, vascular, or thoracic surgery, or those with interventional procedural experience.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant specialty
Current BLS certification
Strong understanding of OR protocols, patient safety, and surgical procedures
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills:
ACLS certification
Past experience with cardiac, vascular, or thoracic surgeries
Experience with interventional procedures
Familiarity with anesthesia protocols and pre/post-operative care
Preferred Education and Experience:
Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Experience in operating room settings, preferably with cardiac, vascular, or thoracic experience
Prior experience with interventional procedures is advantageous
Other Requirements:
Availability to work 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with call responsibilities
Must be available to work during scheduled holidays, including Thanksgiving if required
No local candidates within 50 miles preferred
Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursements as applicable
