Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an oncology specialty
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, inpatient setting
Nice to Have Skills:
Chemotherapy certification
Experience with Cerner electronic health record systems
Knowledge of oncology and hematology treatments
Preferred Education and Experience:
Registered Nurse licensure in good standing
Prior experience in a dedicated medical oncology/hematology unit
Proven ability to deliver attentive and patient-centered care
Other Requirements:
No local candidates within 50 miles; position is available for qualified out-of-area candidates willing to travel
Availability for scheduled shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 13-week assignment
Commitment to maintaining compliance with all applicable state, federal, and local laws
