We are seeking a skilled professional to join our high-volume diagnostic radiology department, providing quality imaging services that directly impact patient outcomes. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven setting, ensuring timely and accurate imaging for inpatient and outpatient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and specialized C-arm procedures.
  • Conduct inpatient and outpatient exams, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare and position patients, operate advanced imaging equipment, and maintain meticulous records of procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver precise imaging results that aid in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Be available to work during the Thanksgiving holiday if needed, contributing to continuous patient care.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology.
  • Current ARRT certification and active BLS certification.
  • Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system.
  • Strong technical skills in operating X-ray, fluoroscopy, and C-arm equipment.
  • Excellent patient communication and positioning skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high throughput of 150 exams per 24-hour shift.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with lumbar punctures and other interventional procedures.
  • Knowledge of additional imaging modalities or specialized radiology procedures.
  • Prior experience working in a hospital setting with both inpatient and outpatient departments.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • ARRT certification in Radiography.
  • At least 2 years of clinical radiology experience, particularly in a high-volume department.
  • Familiarity with hospital information systems and workflow optimization.

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work the schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
  • Flexibility to cover holidays, including Thanksgiving, as needed.
  • Licensure and certification appropriate for radiologic technologists.
  • Travel reimbursements or other applicable allowances, if applicable.
