We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Psychologist to provide essential mental health services at Naval Health Clinic Annapolis. Required Skills:
  • Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program
  • Completion of an APA-approved clinical psychology internship
  • Current license to practice Clinical or Counseling Psychology in one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent practice in clinical psychology within the past five years
  • At least two (2) years of experience working within Neuro Psychology in the past three years
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on the needs of the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF)
  • Adequate training and experience to deliver services effectively to service members and families
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and crisis intervention skills

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience working within military or federal healthcare settings
  • Knowledge of veteran and military-specific mental health issues
  • Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
  • Familiarity with government security and credentialing processes

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • A Doctorate (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited institution
  • Previous experience working in neuropsychology or similar specialized fields
  • Experience with credentialing and security clearance procedures

Other Requirements:
  • Must obtain and maintain necessary security clearances, which may take 4-6 weeks
  • Ability to work an 80-hour bi-weekly schedule, including nights, weekends, and federally recognized holidays
  • Willingness to work at Naval Health Clinic Annapolis
  • Credentialing and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
