Exciting Locum Physician Opportunity – General Medicine in Houston, TX

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct interview-based exams with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
Perform one-time, non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
Collaborate efficiently with minimal onsite requirements, using your own office space in designated locations.
Complete exams and submit reports within specified timeframes, including any necessary addendums.
Participate in ongoing administrative follow-up work such as writing opinions and reading diagnostics.
Required Skills:
Current medical license in good standing.
Background in internal medicine, family medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
Experience with compensation and pension exams preferred.
Strong interview and physical assessment skills.
Ability to work independently and adhere to guidelines.
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience with government or VA-related medical assessments.
Familiarity with medical certification processes.
Excellent organizational and report-writing skills.
Preferred Education and Experience:
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
At least 2 years of clinical experience in general medicine or related fields.
Previous experience with compensation and pension or similar evaluations is a plus.
Other Requirements:
Local candidates only; travel expenses are included in the rates.
Willingness to perform exams in designated locations per schedule.
Availability starting from February 2, 2026.
No travel or certification reimbursements are provided prior to engagement.
This position offers a highly competitive hourly rate of $624.00, with flexibility for half-day or full-day shifts, and an additional one-time bonus of $650 upon completing initial training and first exams.
