What You’ll Do
Provide neonatology care for newborn patients in a Level II special care nursery (6-bed)
Collaborate with pediatric hospitalists and neonatology to support newborn nursery coverage
Deliver family-centered care, partnering with families throughout the care process
Participate in CQI (continuous quality improvement) activities
Support and/or contribute to clinical research projects
Use block scheduling to coordinate shifts, including a flexible out-of-house call schedule
Work in a team environment with sub-specialty support available and expanding services
What You Need
Required
Board Certified Neonatologist
Ability to provide neonatal care in an inpatient newborn nursery setting (Level II)
Preferred
Experience working collaboratively in inpatient pediatric/neonatal care teams
Interest in CQI and clinical research participation
