Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Austin, TX

Required Skills:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Active TX medical license or suitable licensing in progress
Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care and hospitalist services
Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environments
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Prior locum or hospitalist experience in a similar setting
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or other languages advantageous
Additional certifications in fetal monitoring or emergency obstetric care
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree (MD or DO)
Minimum of 2 years of obstetrics practice experience, including hospitalist roles
Current valid medical license in Texas or eligibility for licensure
Other Requirements:
Ability to start on or before December 31, 2025
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekend shifts
Comprehensive malpractice insurance coverage; certification in ACLS/BLS preferred
Reimbursements for travel, licensure, certification, and related expenses where applicable
Compensation for this opportunity is $195.00 per hour, paid weekly via direct deposit. Benefit packages include comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws, and a robust referral bonus program.
