Job Title: Physical Therapist (Perm - Part Time) – Inpatient and Outpatient Care Location: 17 Belmont Avenue, Brattleboro, VT 05301 Schedule: Day Shifts, Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team in Brattleboro, VT. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services, contributing to patient recovery and functional improvement. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting departmental initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical condition and functional needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and patient goals.
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants and undergraduate students, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.
Participate actively in departmental quality improvement initiatives, community outreach programs, and service development efforts.
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Vermont or eligibility for licensure.
Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Proven clinical experience preferred, with strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement.
