Perm Urology Physician Opportunity – Covenant Medical Group, Saginaw, MI
Covenant Medical Group (CMG) is actively seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Urologist to join our expanding team in Saginaw, Michigan. This high-priority position addresses increasing patient volumes and aims to enhance access to top-quality urological care within our vibrant community.
Position Highlights:
Collaborative Practice Environment: Join a dedicated team of three experienced urologists, including uro-oncologists, within a leading physician-driven organization supported by over 77 advanced practice providers. Our group emphasizes clinical excellence, professional growth, and community engagement.
Comprehensive Clinical Responsibilities: Provide a full spectrum of general urology services, including laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in robotic surgeries, with two da Vinci HD robotic systems available. Experience in uro-oncology is a plus, though not mandatory.
State-of-the-Art Facilities: Practice in modern, technologically advanced settings, including a hospital operating room, outpatient surgery center with da Vinci robots, and a new hybrid operating suite. The region’s first ARTIS Pheno robotic angiography system enables innovative minimally invasive procedures.
Affiliated Support & Resources: Use Epic’s electronic health records system—Covenant has over 15 years of experience with this platform. Clinic support staff, including a dedicated practice coordinator, streamline operations. Opportunities exist to collaborate with medical students and residents from Central Michigan University.
Schedule & Call Coverage: Call frequency is approximately one in four, with outpatient clinics, hospital procedures, and access to a broad referral network. Outpatient procedures are conducted at a beautiful location shared with primary care and pediatrics.

Competitive base salary aligned with MGMA guidelines, commensurate with experience and fellowship training (discussed during interview).
Productivity and incentive bonuses.
Sign-on incentives, loan repayment options, and training stipends.

Paid CME allowances, memberships, licenses, and vacation time.
Initial two-year contract with a 30-day termination clause; subsequent annual contracts based on wRVU productivity.

Qualifications:
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
Ability to obtain Michigan state medical licensure
Skills in laparoscopic and robotic surgery preferred
Strong communication and clinical skills
Willingness to participate in residents or medical student teaching
