Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team in Lancaster, NH. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, clinical expertise, and compassionate care in providing high-quality respiratory services to a diverse patient population. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to patient recovery and wellness in a collaborative hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver age-appropriate respiratory care to patients across all age groups, adhering to hospital policies and AARC standards of practice.
Operate and troubleshoot advanced ventilator equipment, including Drager Ventilators, Transport Vent Zoll, Bipap V60, and Vapotherm High Flow Oxygen systems.
Perform Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) analysis using Gem ABG machines.
Assess patient condition and adjust respiratory interventions accordingly.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech electronic medical records (EMR) system.
Ensure equipment safety and proper maintenance, following departmental protocols.
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS (AHA), and NBRC required.
Proven experience with ventilator management and respiratory equipment.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate ranging from $30.00 to $45.00, with an annual salary equivalent of $62,400 to $93,600.
Full-time and part-time positions eligible for a Commencement Bonus of up to $20,000 and a Student Loan Repayment Program of up to $15,750.
Relocation assistance and a Relocation Bonus of up to $17,500 for candidates moving over 100 miles.
Agency placement fee equivalent to 25%.
Benefits include full medical, dental, and vision plans; health savings account options; life insurance; and short- and long-term disability coverage.
Additional Information:
Candidates must reside within 30 minutes of the facility.
Equipment in the department includes advanced ventilator systems and ABG analyzers.
