Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our imaging team on a night shift schedule. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures, both invasive and non-invasive, adhering to the highest standards of patient care and safety. This role requires independent judgment, technical proficiency, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a broad range of CT imaging procedures, including neuro, abdominal, orthopedic scans, and assist radiologists with invasive procedures as needed.
Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and radiation protection standards during procedures.
Operate CT equipment efficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing patient exposure.
Evaluate images for quality and completeness, and make adjustments as necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient data, and equipment logs.
Provide patient education and support to ensure comfort and compliance throughout procedures.
Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and tact when interacting with patients and colleagues.
Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate smooth workflow and patient management.
Stay current with advancements in imaging technology and maintain required certifications.
Qualifications & Credentials:
Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support).
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography and CT.
Current VMS (Veterans Medical Selection) certification or the ability to obtain one preferred.
Prior experience performing CT procedures is preferred but not mandatory; strong attention to detail and willingness to learn are essential.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure, with high attention to safety and accuracy.
Flexibility with work hours and willingness to cover night shifts.
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting pay rate of $28.48/hour, commensurate with experience.
Night shift differential of $4.00/hour; additional shift differentials for evenings ($1.50/hour), weekends ($2.00/hour).
Sign-on bonus of $15,000, contingent upon a two-year employment commitment.
20% permanent placement fee.
