What You’ll Do:
As an OR RN, you will provide expert nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. Your role involves preparing operating rooms, assisting surgeons, monitoring patient vital signs, and ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols. Your skills will directly contribute to successful surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Required Skills:
Valid RN license in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience
Proficiency in perioperative procedures and sterile technique
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellentcommunication and teamwork abilities
Ability to respond swiftly in high-pressure situations
Nice to Have Skills:
Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) or equivalent
Experience with robotic and minimally invasive surgeries
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Knowledge of anesthesia practices and surgical instrumentation
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
At least 3 years of OR nursing experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
Must obtain and maintain current CPR and ACLS certifications
Ability to work a flexible schedule including potential call shifts
Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
